Spread the Love fever....for real.

I literally have the fever for Matrix Spread the Love.
-December 201, trip to NYC for STL I was running a fever almost the entire time I was there and became very ill the day I returned to St Louis.
-This past spring for Discover in St Louis I met up with the 2012 lovers...again running a fever and developed a severe sinus infection in the days to follow.
-NOW running a fever with yet another sinus infection as I am getting ready to complete my semi-finalist requirements.
I really do have the Spread the Love fever!!!

My bio paid off.

Last night I had a requested client on my book and I did not know the name nor did she have a referring guest.    She had fabulous hair and a chic pants suit.  I greeted her brought her back to my chair and found that she had been searching for a new salon and through our web search she read my bio and knew I was the one to see.  We have a great color/highlight and cut service.  I pushed her limits with the new Aveda star Dahlia lip color and sent her home with a bright smile and some fresh backcombing education.   I hope I have a client for lift.   "P" was total glam!

Ah HA moment.

Yesterday I found myself with a no show/no call appointment, we all have them and I decided to make the most of the new time on books to do mannequin work.  I wanted to work on my speed of setting the hair with one of my CHI orbit wands (love them!!!)  when I had my "Ah HA!" moment.  I have found it difficult to wrap the hair on the wand without burning my fingers and/or getting most of the hair around the wand.   The, Ah HA, occurred when I was wrapping a curl and noticed I had twisted the hair as I wrapped which, made all the layers hold down to the wand and allowed me to curl the entire length of the section.  AH HA!!!

Reflection

AMAZING!!!   This is my word du jour.   Last year at this time I was making certain all my requirements for  graduation were fulfilled and I was preparing to take my final exams to graduation Cosmetology school.   Time goes into turbo when your poor and having fun!   The journey over the past year has been one I will never forget.   The financial hardships of the past months are greater than I have ever imagined yet,  I have dealt with them better than any other hardship in the past.   Faith in Jesus works!    The incredible experience, I am having as an employee of Ginger Bay Salon spa is like no other.   I have learned in 9 months at Ginger Bay what I perceive would have taken me 5 years had I attempted to do booth rental right out of school....AMAZING that sums it all up.

Blog unlocked!!!

I am back and I am "ON"   let's do this!!!
